During this unprecedented time, we have taken government advice and have ceased all routine eyecare services.  We are able to deal with emergency and essential eye care only.

Examples of an emergency are:  eye trauma, a foreign body in your eye, a new red eye, recent onset eye pain or flashes and floaters (which can be a sign of a retinal tear or detachment).

Examples of essential care are:  lost or broken glasses which you rely on (if you have no alternative to fall back on and they cannot be repaired), need of a new supply of contact lenses, on which you rely.

Please telephone (0131) 660 1415 if you have any difficulties which you feel could constitute an eye emergency or if you require essential eyecare services.

Our telephone line will be answered between the hours of 9am to 5pm from Monday to Friday.

It is important to telephone the practice rather than attend in person as our door will be locked and we are implementing strict social distancing measures.

Please take care and stay safe.

We look forward to seeing you again soon, when normal service can resume.
